My copy of HTML5 for Web Designers arrived on Saturday, and I finished it over the long weekend. It's 85 densely-packed pages that's useful for anyone interested in HTML5 (not just web designers). I'm a big fan of short, nutrient-rich books like this (JavaScript: The Good Parts is another example). They give enough information to start tinkering with a specific technology, but aren't mired in details that can be researched in-depth later. This book is also an example of great print design; its just cool to look at! I'm looking forward to the other titles coming up from A Book Apart.
